Why the WATM Circle?

I created WATM Circle in the Spring of 2018 after encountering a special group of women who had the desire to blog and write content for their business, but didn’t know where to start, lacked a little confidence, couldn’t find the time, or found the process daunting. We gathered regularly for 4 months. I noticed bonds forming and confidence building. I also saw the group publish their first blog posts, launch new websites, and share insightful life stories that made us laugh and think. It was the sense of community and a desire for feedback that made all the difference. Creating a circle proved to help in different ways.

What is the WATM Circle?

WATM Circle is a small gathering of women in business who want to write and share their work with each other. Each seasonal circle includes 6 - 2 hour sessions, and one-on-one coaching if you opt for the full series. The sessions cover workshop and writing exercises. During the circle, writers are encouraged to submit their work to the WATM blog.

How will I benefit from the WATM Circle?

We were surprised by the unexpected gifts we received during the initial phase so don't be surprised when you receive your lot.

  • Establish a regular writing practice

  • Become more comfortable sharing your writing with others or “putting yourself out there”

  • Grow from giving and receiving useful feedback

  • Heighten your creative expression

  • Practice self-care and mindfulness during your writing moments

How can I submit to the blog?

Submitting to the blog is easy. Once you’re in the WATM Circle, you will gain access to the form to submit your work. You are encouraged to share your posts with your social networks for exposure.
